Karen, of the Art Of Doing Stuff shares with us a very easy trick for getting the musty smell out of those vintage treasures we pine over. I have a very large vintage suitcase that still smells musty two years after I found it. I have my sewing patterns in it so it isn’t too big of a deal but I think I will try this trick to open up the storage possibilities.

Not that we’re aware of….
I think a healthy number of my readers are (or were already) Unconsumption readers. If you are not familiar with the group it is a truly commercial-free eco attitude. They are in the top five front runners for some much needed funding (The operation is all volunteer, all the time) and would greatly appreciate a show of their fellow tumblrites support. Non-tumblr readers need only comment in the Disqus comment section of the home page.
