Winner of the Cardboard Cermamic Tray is……!

iamdawt  who said: “ My favorite item is definitely the Cuppow- Sipping Lid for Canning Jars. I saw it somewhere else a few days ago & immediately wanted it! Also, this tray is pret-ty nifty”

It sure is nifty! Thanks so much for playing along! If you could send me your contact info so I can forward it to the lovely ladies of Grayslater!

For those of you upset that you didn’t win, (and who would blame you!) you can purchase one of your own trays here. (And don’t forget you are supporting indie artists and businesses when you buy from Greyslater!

Speaking of talented indie artists, don’t forget to enter the draw for the forged belt buckle (that also opens bottles!) made my Metalogical. Do that here.

Recycled Picture Frame Jewelry Storage via Amped Dangerous
I fell in love instantly when I saw this way to display jewelry. It woudn’t take much but some gold paint, thrifted frames and pretty fabric. The hardest part would be the cubby for the frame ‘drawers’ but I bet a paper storage center would do the trick.

Repurposed Etched Glass Spice Jars : Instructables
My spice rack is a mix and match of vintage and new(ish) mason jars and some random recycled jars. So naturally I love these repurposed Starbucks bottles. Tall and slim and yet bigger than those useless little store bought rack jars.

With some careful anchoring this is so easy it almost hurts. Problem is, I never seem to find the cool fallen limbs that designers seem to use for everything cool!

Giveaway Number Four!

I must have some good blogging karma because yet another amazing Etsy artist has donated a beautiful piece to The Storage Geek giveaway cause!

Chris of the very cool Etsy shop Metalogical has been kind enough to offer up this badass bottle opening belt buckle. “This unique buckle makes a perfect gift for that hard to shop for person and comes in handy at those parties or camping trips where no one can find a bottle opener!
Each buckle begins life as a piece of 3/16” steel. The 3” blank is heated in a forge to 2300 degrees and the circular opener is hot cut with a handmade chisel and carefully shaped with a hammer. It is then bent in a press, welded, cleaned and detailed to perfection, and sprayed with our low VOC environmentally friendly clear coat and our Rust finish.”

About Metalogical: An old school (think 19th century) process metal shop located in Florida, Metalogical makes some pretty wonderful things aside from belt buckles. My favourite (Probably because it makes both my inner storage geek and stationary geek happy is the Business card holder.) But they also make wearable accessories and decor items for your home.  Chris is also a skateboard enthusiast who last year purchased Hello Kitty board or his little girl.

(The business card holder is not up for giveaway, I just love it dearly.)

Intrigued? Love the buckle? Awesome! Read on for your chance to win it!

Mandatory Entry: Comment via the Disqus comment form on this post. Tell me how much you covet the bottle opener belt buckle, or tel me your all time favourite song. You can keep it anonymous as long as you leave a way to contact you. (Email or blog address)
