Hi Guys! You may or my not remember that I have a small handmade business called Modern Wednesday. I just wanted to drop you a note with pictures to show you the soft tablet and e-reader cases I have been making.

Ipad case: Grey wool blend outer with a upcycled wool sweater interior.

IPad case: Upcycled lavender suede exterior, smokey blue upcycled sweater interior.

Kobo Touch : Upcycled lavender suede exterior, creamy white upcycled sweater interior.

Kobo Vox case: Canavas exterior, salvaged wool felt interior.
The top three have not been listed at the shoppe yet because I have a show tomorrow. The bottom case was a custom order. If I have any left over tomorrow afternoon they will be listed by Sunday evening. And in case you miss out, custom orders are always welcome.
Happy Friday :)
Shoebox Marker Caddy:Aunt Peaches
Everyone has a shoebox and everyone has TP rolls. So everyone should have a marker caddy by 3pm this afternoon! Also, i you haven’t been to Aunt Peaches website before, you really should. She loves glitter and tells the best stories that she types with her Southern accent.
These multi-purpose cable clips are perfect for your bedside table while charging your phone and/or Kobo or Kindle. Or at the computer when you have two or more USB wires fighting for the same port, wouldn’t it be nice to not constantly fish them off of the floor behind your desk? Or is that just me? At 2.99 for a package of six, I think these are a steal.
Recycled Wall Pockets via Cuarto derecha
Modern take on the traditional recycled wall pockets. Use dollar store canvases, a staple gun and some pockets from old clothing. Love this idea.
My favorite find & idea, ever :) by LAfromFN on Flickr.
Bubblegum button dispenser. Seriously awesome. The vintage lines and colour are incredible. Also, I love the thought of the dispenser choosing the buttons or me or a craft project. Must.Find.One.
From Candle Holder to Necklace Holder via Jewelry making Journal
Great job repurposing a candlebra to a jewelry stand by Stacy of She’s Kinda Crafty. The candle holder parts are perfect or rings and brooches.
DIY Apothecary Jars : Parties For Pennies
These adorable apothecary jars are made from old spaghetti jars if you can believe it! Add a drawer knob and spray paint and voila! You have Apothecary jars or next to nothing. I love these. They would work in any room in the house.

DIY Driftwood Photo Display - Morning Creativity
I have been trying to ind just the right project(s) for the hubster’s sentimental driftwood (from walks with his niece when she was small.) I think this is perfect, I can even use pictures of the pair of them.
industrial chic jewelry display stand large by fivetenfifteen
I try hard not to post artist/crater work from Etsy (for example) but or this particular model the shipping would be prohibitive. (I have these exact pieces but larger as curtain rods in three of our rooms.) Heavy heavy stuff. But these are incredibly easy to make and paces like Home Depot or Lowes with cut and thread your pipe or free (it is included in the per lineal foot price). I think these would not only make great jewelry holders at home but at a craft fair booth too. You could spray paint them pretty colours to blend in with the rest o your wares if industrial chic isn’t really the aesthetique you were going for.
