Winner of the Cardboard Cermamic Tray is……!

iamdawt  who said: “ My favorite item is definitely the Cuppow- Sipping Lid for Canning Jars. I saw it somewhere else a few days ago & immediately wanted it! Also, this tray is pret-ty nifty”

It sure is nifty! Thanks so much for playing along! If you could send me your contact info so I can forward it to the lovely ladies of Grayslater!

For those of you upset that you didn’t win, (and who would blame you!) you can purchase one of your own trays here. (And don’t forget you are supporting indie artists and businesses when you buy from Greyslater!

Speaking of talented indie artists, don’t forget to enter the draw for the forged belt buckle (that also opens bottles!) made my Metalogical. Do that here.

Giveaway Number Four!

I must have some good blogging karma because yet another amazing Etsy artist has donated a beautiful piece to The Storage Geek giveaway cause!

Chris of the very cool Etsy shop Metalogical has been kind enough to offer up this badass bottle opening belt buckle. “This unique buckle makes a perfect gift for that hard to shop for person and comes in handy at those parties or camping trips where no one can find a bottle opener!
Each buckle begins life as a piece of 3/16” steel. The 3” blank is heated in a forge to 2300 degrees and the circular opener is hot cut with a handmade chisel and carefully shaped with a hammer. It is then bent in a press, welded, cleaned and detailed to perfection, and sprayed with our low VOC environmentally friendly clear coat and our Rust finish.”

About Metalogical: An old school (think 19th century) process metal shop located in Florida, Metalogical makes some pretty wonderful things aside from belt buckles. My favourite (Probably because it makes both my inner storage geek and stationary geek happy is the Business card holder.) But they also make wearable accessories and decor items for your home.  Chris is also a skateboard enthusiast who last year purchased Hello Kitty board or his little girl.

(The business card holder is not up for giveaway, I just love it dearly.)

Intrigued? Love the buckle? Awesome! Read on for your chance to win it!

Mandatory Entry: Comment via the Disqus comment form on this post. Tell me how much you covet the bottle opener belt buckle, or tel me your all time favourite song. You can keep it anonymous as long as you leave a way to contact you. (Email or blog address)

Extra two entries: Follow Metalogical on Twitter and Facebook (Leave a separate comment to let me know you did so.)

Bonus FIVE entries: Visit the Metalogical Etsy shop and do some window shopping. Come back and in the Disqus comment form, let me know what other items you love.

We’re starting the prize at £25 worth of Pixie vouchers for the winning reader…but here’s the good part - if…

Normally I don’t reblog these sorts of things as I am super OCD about the content on my blog(s) but Amelia was sweet enough to ask oh so politely and hey, I enjoy nice clothing as much as the next gal.

Nuno:Painted Desert Craft E-Zine Giveaway!

For those of you in the know I bet you’re excited! And stick around for how to enter this giveaway for your very own copy of this incredible magazine! For those of you wondering what the gosh darn heck a Nuno is, allow me to elucidate!

Nuno is an independently published completely ad free craft magazine produced by two sisters, Elizabeth and Rachel with assistance of one husband. Nuno is published quarterly with the seasons, Painted Desert being the fourth and a summer volume.Previous issues are titled Rustle, Shades of Grey and Forest.

I began reading Nuno with it’s first issue Forest and have been in love with it ever since. With every issue I am blown away with the creativity of the projects. Not just the finished results but by the fact that each and every project is made with at least some (and sometimes all) recycled and repurposed materials. From recycled yarn and toilet paper rolls to salvaged leather and rocks it is all there for the creative repurposing crafter.

The Painted Desert issue is chock full of great projects that can be seen in the twenty page preview here. For those of you viewing from a tumblr dashboard you will have to click the thumbnail to view the widget at the Storage Geek page.

So when I received a link to the summer issue Painted Desert with a note about blogger giveaway copies I was totally on board! Now, would you like to get a copy of this amazing eco conscious magazine? I knew you would! All you have to do is reblog this post (And leave me a comment for those of you who do not have a Tumblr account.) for one entry and tweet it for a second! Tweet me @thestorage_geek with the link to your tweet.  A week from now (Sunday August 21st) I will draw a winner or two (Or three depending on how many entries we get) using random.org. That is it folks, easy peasy lemon squeezey!

For those of you who would like to check out past issues of Nuno you can view excerpts and preview widgets as well as purchase the issues titled Rustle, Shades of Grey and Forest.

P.S. One dollar of every sale of Painted Desert goes to Provide for Child-Headed Households in Kenya charity.

Bonne Chance!
