Repurposed Etched Glass Spice Jars : Instructables
My spice rack is a mix and match of vintage and new(ish) mason jars and some random recycled jars. So naturally I love these repurposed Starbucks bottles. Tall and slim and yet bigger than those useless little store bought rack jars.

Mini-File Cabinet to Spice Holder | Young House Love
Little metal boxes like these have a million uses.    Using it as spice storage is a great one. I think I would be less clever and use it as a recipe holder, but I have been looking for a recipe card holder that screams me for awhile. Also, I have the matching army-issue-super-deep-grey/green filing cabinet in my dining space/office. :)
