DIY Cork Pencil Holder and Organizer : Curbly | DIY Design Community
Stacked cork trivets (Available at IKEA and Amazon) make a great pen/pencil holder that works as a memo station too. This works for me as I never seem to have enough Post-It notes, but I always have pretty little push ins about.

Coffee Bean Makeup Brush Holder : The Creative Imperative
Any storage/organization option that makes use of the deliciously smelling coffee bean is a-OK in my books. Instead of using vase filler, this idea uses coffee beans to store make up brushes upright. <3

DIY Rolling Bar Cart DIY Ideas
I found the photo @ unplugged because they had a great idea of doing the same with a rolling mini office. I love the original idea as well but it works on many levels. A rolling craft centre for you and/or your children. A cooking centre complete books and and rarely used tools and appliances. Portable shelving is the bees knees no matter how you utilize it.

I have been racking my brain trying to figure out a great idea for a bar(cart). Looking through my archives I found this one. Second hand change tables don’t come along that often, but I have now moved them up to the top of my “I need this for this” list.

Recycled pour spout for a mason jar. For those of us who do not buy salt with the convenient pour spout (I buy sea salt in bulk). I do however, buy half and half cream a couple times a week with this very same spout. I hope it works for me.

DIY Snug Mug Spoon Wall Rack by Patricia Heal via Readymade.com
You might have to look at this a second time to grasp the brilliance of it. (OK that was just me?) Anyway! This is amazing. The simplicity of the project added to the recycled spoons is the perfect mix. Would you have thought to stick some spoons and a some tubing to hang your mugs? Bonus points if you make it so that can use the spoons to stir the coffee.
Clicking the link or photo takes you to the written instructions with video.

Two years later, I still love this idea. If only our new place had enough wall space. Sigh

DIY : Simple Clothing Rack : Simplified Building
This super simple clothing rack is also super affordable. We’ve been talking about something similar to this for an entry way storage option. I like how the hangers would hang parallel to the wall. Yup.

Alternative Acrylic Clear Cube Makeup Organizer : The Frugal Closet
Great post on using affordable clear acrylic storage pieces to store your make up. Using two Rubbermaid Office Solution Optimizers and a multitude of clear acrylic trays your make up would be neatly organized and kept visible for optimum use.
Some ideas for the clear acrylic trays:
Poker chip tray for round potted cosmetics.
24 Lipstick Organizer
Clear Finishing Tray
4 Compartment Valet
Makes me wish I had more make up just so I could store it better.
